Becoming wine.

It is good to be back online. I apologize for being away for a few days. I pray God is speaking to you through our devotions together. I know He is me.

One of the main themes I see repeated in our devotions is the idea of holiness among God's people. This is a really important concept for Christians. Our lives are to be lived in total abandonment to God. This means that we sacrifice all that we have, are, and ever want to be to Him and His plans.

God does have plans for us as His children. Nothing happens to us that He doesn't allow or orchestrate. As we are reminded in Romans though, God can bring good out of all situations. Becoming wine for God can be painful but only the crushed grape produces the wine. I pray that as God crushes us to make His wine, may we glorify Him. May God's will be realized in our lives.

I also want to encourage you to pray for each other. It seems there has been a number of deaths here lately and we need to lift these families up. We all face struggles on a daily basis and I believe the enemy will only intensify his attacks. Be on guard, draw near to God and He will draw near to us.

Be blessed.
Pastor Mark
