The Theology of Rest

Confidence in God. This is a question brought up in our devotion today. Do we have confidence in God? Do we trust Him to take care of us even though the way before us seems blocked? Do we see our trials as a means to have our faith stretched? The disciples were told that they had "little faith". Do we find ourselves in the same place? Do we have faith up to a certain point and then fall back on our own strength? God wants us to trust Him even when the way before us is unsure. We can look to Jesus and He will guide us. He will take care of us as His faithful servants. Let us rest in Jesus because He is worthy of our trust.
